FCA USA LLC CEO Sergio Marchionne is currently determining what the best course of action is for his company.He has made clear his plans for pursuing a merger with various other automakers, but he believes that the right one is necessary for success. Considering a few options, he mentioned “here are other less-optimal combinations” and better ones too. The main reason to go with this line of working is to help lower costs by boosting production of models like the 2015 Chrysler 200.
The entire situation has drawn some attention to how companies like Apple and Google will soon be entering the auto market. Indeed, they currently have a number of systems especially dedicated to self-driving car technology. Marchionne is fully aware of these companies and is very impressed and respectful of their progress. “The level of sophistication in vehicles will redefine driving,” he said. Marchionne is also interested in succeeding with a merger as a main way to augment the pay structure for all FCA USA LLC employees.
