The Mooresville institute that trains a majority of auto technicians will be aided by a new partnership with Chrysler. FCA USA LLC hopes to entice students by offering specialized training in working with their vehicles. Students will be able to work with a wealth of models, from the 2015 Chrysler 200 and beyond. Our Chrysler dealership serving Long Beach knows exactly how important reliable auto technicians are, so it’s wonderful to see FCA USA LLC getting involved in pushing that forward.
“It gives students confidence that major manufacturers are investing in our program,” NASCAR Technical Institute President Jennifer Bergeron said in an interview.
This is something all of us shouldn’t take for granted. The students today will be the leaders of tomorrow. They’ll be able to build a better environment for all of us!
“This campus is one that we’re most proud of,” Kim McWaters, CEO of Universal Technical Institute said. “It sets high standards. It’s expensive to teach people what they need to know to work on machines like this.”
The entire school administration was onboard with the plan as well, which makes for a touching end to this story.
