A 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine is standard, but the new Jeep Cherokee is eligible for an optional 3.2-liter, six-cylinder engine that produces 271 horsepower and 239 lb-ft of torque.
No matter which engine you choose, your 2018 Jeep Cherokee will have a nine-speed automatic transmission. The first three trims come with either front- or all-wheel drive, but the trail-rated Trailhawk model is only available with all-wheel drive.
