Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking
The rear-end collision is the most common type of car crash according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), accounting for about 35% of crashes every year. This available feature helps put an end to fender benders. With radar and cameras, the vehicle essentially has a 6th sense on when you are approaching slowed traffic. When the system becomes alert that you are approaching too quickly, you’ll receive an audible and visual warning. The system will also pre-fill the brake system for instant response. Should you not respond, it will automatically engage the brake for you.
LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist
Unintentionally easing into another lane happens, but when another vehicle is present, it could easily cause a collision. With lane departure warning, you’ll receive an alert should you start to move into another lane without signaling. If action isn’t taken to move your vehicle back into your designated lane, the system will provide gentle steering to correct your positioning.
Blind Spot Monitoring
The Chrysler Pacifica also offers blind spot monitoring. With the power of sensor technology, this feature makes lane changing safer. When the system detects a vehicle in either of your blind spot areas, you’ll be alerted with an icon in the corresponding exterior mirror.
