During the winter, we tend to wash our car less, even though our weather is mild. So why not start spring with a deep cleaning, including the undercarriage, where grime likes to hide.
Wash it all away and keep rust from forming. Next, you’ll want to hit the interior of your car. Yes, your seats and floor need a good vacuuming, but you should also pay special attention to your floors, as this is where all the debris from outside has landed.
Winter driving is hard on your tires. They do a lot of work in sometimes messy conditions. It’s also a good time to do a rotation and a proper alignment. You’ll want to have a professional check out your tire tread to ensure none of the tires are balding. You’ll need the traction for those coming spring showers. Another part of your car that needs a comprehensive inspection is the battery. We’ll be glad to give your battery a quick check to see how it’s doing. According to Popular Mechanics, the normal lifespan of a battery is six years, so keep this in mind.
