What are the new features of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler?

The 2024 version of the Jeep Wrangler has received some very nice updates, designed for convenience and to keep drivers and passengers comfortable. There is more safety equipment, as well as hi-tech features.

Two new trims have joined the Wrangler lineup – the Sport S 4xe and the Rubicon X.

Our knowledgeable Chrysler service center staff recommends the following tips for enhancing Chrysler’s durability.

• The Sport S 4xe is equipped with a hybrid PHEV engine and is a more affordable trim for those who appreciate a hybrid powertrain.
• The Rubicon X is the Wrangler for the serious off-roader. It’s got 35-inch tires, an integrated off-road camera, steel bumpers, beadlock-capable wheels, and a full-time transfer case. The Rubicon X comes with either a gas or hybrid powertrain.

The 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon has a new Dana 44 heavy-duty full-float solid rear axle, which allows for bigger tires and wheels and increases towing capacity to 5,000 pounds when properly equipped. You can also get an available factory-installed, 8,000-pound Warn winch for this trim.

Front and back side-curtain airbags have been installed as standard equipment, plus ten new wheel designs. Larger tire sizes and higher ground clearance are also new for 2024 Wranglers. And if you’re looking for the antenna, it’s been integrated right into the windshield. Even the iconic seven-slot grille design has been updated.

There are quite a few new interior Jeep Wrangler features.

• Updated styling includes one slim center vent, a hand-wrapped instrument panel, and a much-needed integrated passenger grab handle.
• Uconnect® 5 infotainment system sports a large Google-based 12.3-inch touchscreen display with LED backlighting. The Uconnect® infotainment system is model-specific – 4xe models include e-hybrid pages; Rubicon models have pitch and roll, vehicle dynamics, etc.
• Wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® are now offered.
• More speakers, microphones, and sound dampening help make phone calls easier to hear. Thick carpet, acoustic glass, and sound-deadening foam also lend to a quieter interior, even at high speeds.
• Top Wrangler trims include 12-way, power-adjustable front seats with water-fording protection.
