Dodge Charger fans will want to hear about this — a new special edition is set to debut, elevating the Ford muscle car collection once again. The 2019 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Octane Edition makes a stunning statement. This truly unique vehicle stands out anywhere it goes. The vehicle will have two color options: Pitch Black or White Knuckle. Both feature solid colors with dual stripes running all the way down the bottom of the bumper to the end of the vehicle.
Prior to this year, Dodge did not offer an SRT Hellcat edition for the Dodge Charger. Now that it has its own, it doesn’t disappoint. You’ll find 707 horsepower under the hood with a 6.2-liter HEMI® V8 Hellcat engine. The powertrain equips 650 lb.-ft. of torque and can reach 60 mph in 3.6 seconds.
In addition to the black center stripe, red accent stripes line the vehicle. It also features black badges, glossy black interior accents, and heavy-duty red Brembo brakes. The decklid is bathed in black while the rear spoiler has a satin black finish. The color theme is completed with red stitching in the interior. The instrumental panel has a striking black-on-black Hellcat badge with red accent colors on the seatbelts as well.
The grille includes dual air inlets that Car and Driver says “resemble devilish nostrils,” making it a true hellcat. The hood has a prominent air scoop and heat extractors. You can also choose from several different 20-inch wheels that are available with Pirelli P Zero summer tires, which promise enhanced acceleration, braking, and cornering.
