In a decision that Chrysler workers across the country can celebrate, the Warren Stamping plant is increasing its capacity of parts creation by 3.6 million yearly. This decision happened partly in thanks to the United Auto Workers union and their assistance in negotiating a plan that would benefit everyone involved with the plant’s processes. This increase in scope of the plant will come to a total of $63 million in new investment for a press.
Creating vehicles like the 2016 Chrysler 300 as well as the future of the Chrysler lineup like the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, the Warren Stamping plant is very important to Chrysler vehicle business across the country. Our Chrysler dealership serving Huntington Beach knows the plant very well and is grateful for all the work it does! In an interview with Detroit News, Ted Dixon, an end-of-line operator for the new press, said its the most state-of-the-art machine he’s ever worked with in a plant.
“There’s no comparison on how it runs — the efficiency, the quietness,” said Dixon, who has worked in manufacturing for 20 years, including four years at Warren Stamping. “Everything is brand new.”
It’s a wonderful turn of events for all the workers involved in the plant and its beneficiaries! The change will help make working at the plant more efficient, safer, more effective and even keep the same energy costs. There are seldom times that you can create a series of changes at a plant of this size and not have to sacrifice anything!

We want all of our local customers to reap the benefits of the smart decision making from Chrysler experts, so join us to experience the wonderful vehicles and efficiency! We can’t wait to see you!
